He's So In Love With You

My new book takes you on along a a journey with me in as I experience the simplicity of the gospel: "He loves you, He really loves you"! Originally this was never intended to be a book. It was just my way of processing thoughts. One evening while pacing back and forth between mine and my wife's cars in the garage I suddenly realized that the relationship God wished to have with me was mirror image of the parent/child relationship. That was the beginning, I have learned more about God's love for me through parenting than I ever dreamed possible. When I began writing these concepts that have become this book my three sons ranged from newborn to four years old. I lived each chapter of this project over the course of almost seven years. It has been basically a finished project since 2004. I attempted to find a publisher for it, but no one was interested. I just tabled it and left it in God's hands. Occasionally I would show it to someone if I felt God leading. Last fall I shared it with Donald James Parker the publisher of my first book ("Reaching a New Generation of Kids for Christ") to my surprise a few weeks ago he informed me he wanted to publish it. I could hardly believe it! Remember I said this project is about how the relationship God wishes to have with us is a mirror image of the ultimate parent/child relationship. Well one of the beautiful things about "God's timing" is that my three sons were all involved in the cover design of this book. My oldest son Brayden (19) is a photography student at Oklahoma State University took the photo. My youngest son Baylor (13) is the model and Boston (16) our middle son did the cover design. Having them designing the cover was just a further confirmation to me that this is God's timing for the release of this book. To wet you appetite a bit here is what some of my friends had to say about the book: This book has been long overdue in reaching the body of Christ. While reading it, I found myself laughing and at other times weeping at the revelation of God's unfailing love for us. As I perused the pages, it was as if I had walked into the throne room of heaven, climbed in the lap of Jesus, put my arms around his neck and kissed the face of God. As you begin to read this book, get ready, your life will be touched and changed, discovering what Father God really thinks about you. - Pastor Greg Aery, The Link Church, Tulsa, OK By the time you're done with this book, you just haven't had a good time, but a God time. A God time of evaluation, consecration, and commitment, you're feeling closer to God than when you started. Each chapter is insightful, direct, simple and approachable. Bob's unique contrast of illustrations, examples, and scriptures gives you something to chew on and swallow. God's love for us and how to love God, is made crystal clear in the messages of this book. It's a great book to give someone who doesn't know God or has a misconception of God or simply wants to know God better. - Pastor Diego Mesa, Abundant Living Family Church, Rancho Cucamonga, CA. The hardest and greatest ideal that we can attempt in this life is to live as a child of God, loved deeply by the creator of the universe. Too many times as we mature in faith, we lose sight of the genuine joy and excitement that can only come through child-like faith. This should not be. As you read through this book, you will be challenged to live as a deeply love child of God who is unencumbered by the trappings of this life. If we as believers can actually live this, how powerful can our light truly be?--Matthew Olsen, M.Ed., Dean of Men, Oral Roberts University Perhaps my favorite endorsement is the "Forward" written by my friend Pastor Brad Larson of E3 Scottsdale, but you'll have to buy the book to read that one. Now available in paperback here on this website ($9.99 + Shipping) and soon also on all digital formats as well. (Kindle, Nook, iBook)

The title says it all! Looks like a great read. As a former youth pastor, this is at the heart of what kids need to hear.
